Who are we?

NEW Voices is our all-inclusive vocal ensemble. Our 150 enthusiastic members come from all walks of life and share a passion for singing. We welcome members with varied levels of music experience from well-versed choristers to total beginners. Our singers perform in prestigious concerts throughout the year alongside our professional orchestra NEW Sinfonia.

Where is it?

We currently rehearse in person at two rehearsal hubs in North Wales. Our members can chose to join us at whichever hub suits them best. Join us at Tŷ Pawb the community arts hub at the heart of Wrexham, or at St Asaph Parish Church on Saturday mornings at 10.00 - 12:00. We are a project based ensemble meaning our singers can opt in to our projects taking place over 6 week periods.

Our Leaders

Our singers are led by industry specialists Rob Guy, Jenny Pearson, and Polina Horelova. We were delighted to welcome Ukrainian born Polina to the team after being introduced through our partnership with the Wrexham refugee Hub UareUK.

After I was introduced to the choir it reignited my passion for music. It has become a source of joy at a heart-breaking time for us.’ - Polina Horelova

Through working with UareUK, NEW Voices has been able to welcome members of the refugee Hub to the choir.
