About the Event
Calling all young musicians! Join us for an informal and relaxed workshop, learning music from our Award-nominated opera Gresffordd: i’r Goleuni ‘Nawr, playing and conducting with our ensemble of professional players.
Open to ALL instrumentalists Grade 1 and above!
Young musicians will be workshopping extracts from our Opera production alongside our orchestra of professional musicians. They will also be offered the chance learn to conduct the orchestra! This workshop will develop their ensemble performance, confidence and leadership skills, and create inspirational and lasting musical memories as they play side-by-side with professional musicians.
We will be taking Jon Guy’s Award-nominated opera Gresffordd: i’r Goleuni ‘Nawr on tour across Wales, where there will be opportunities for young musicians to perform in the ensemble during the shows!
