About the Event
Hiraeth | Longing for Home is an exploration of the variety of cultures that make up the heart of our town. From traditional welsh folk tunes to the intoxicating rhythms of Zimbabwe, to the sumptuous melodies of Portugal and vibrant harmonies of Poland.
Join NEW Sinfonia as they take over Ty Pawb in Wrexham, presenting music across 2 stages inside the iconic community hub. Inside the performance space you can relax and unwind to the luscious instrumental sounds of a quartet of NEW Sinfonia soloists, whilst at the cabaret stage near the bar the rapturous NEW Voices will warm your spirits. To finish the evening everyone will come together for a Cymanfa Ganu Fiesta of favourite songs and tunes garnished with feisty folk delights.
Hiraeth | Longing for Home is our next event in support of Wrecsam 2025, the town's bid to be UK Capital of Culture for 2025.
