About the Event
Join us as we celebrate NEW Sinfonia’s Wrexham roots with a chamber concert featuring music from composers who call Wrexham home amongst other NEW Sinfonia favourites!
Our programme will feature classics such as Ralph Vaughan William’s Rhosymedre, the quirky and contemporary music of Jon Guy, as well as Mared Emlyn, Grace Williams, Robart Arwyn, and a world premiere by Phanil Ibragimov - Cerdded Stryddoedd Wrecsam (Walking the Streets of Wrecsam).
NEW Sinfonia was founded by Wrexham born brothers Robert and Jon Guy in 2011 with the aim of ensuring that classical music experiences of the highest standard are available to all in North Wales. We provide a platform for North Wales’ freelance professional musicians and ignite, inspire, and engage youngsters with a drive to pursue their musical journeys through our education programme NEW Academi.
